How is AI image generation priced?
Most image APIs charge a fixed price per image that rises with resolution. OpenAI models also charge more for higher quality settings, and FLUX bills by megapixel.

Small models such as FLUX.2 [klein], Grok Imagine and GPT Image at low quality cost around $0.01–0.02 per image. Premium models at 4K can cost $0.15–0.40 per image.
